When is the park open?
Our season is from the 10th May to 13th September 2025
Do you have public Wi-Fi access at Heathfield Camping?
Yes. We offer a chargeable service for internet access. Please ask the wardens for details.
How can I pay my balance?
Balances can be paid by debit or credit card over the phone 01983 407822 or by Bank Transfer (details available on request).
What is the electrical connection that I need?
You will a need a standard 16amp blue, three pin camping hook up lead. If in doubt please contact us.
Can I charge my electric car?
Unfortunately due to the limited electricity supply to each pitch, it is not possible to charge electric vehicles on your pitch. The wardens will advise on the nearest car charging points. (Tesco in Freshwater is one)
Are our pets allowed to come on holiday with us?
We only accept dogs onsite and these are limited to 2 dogs per pitch. Please refer to our site map as only certain pitches are available to guests with dogs.
Can I smoke on site?
Yes, but smoking is strictly prohibited in any of the amenity buildings, reception and tourist information office
Are we allowed BBQ's and Firepits?
BBQ's are permitted at your pitch, and we just ask thay they are kept raised off the grass - either by legs, or by bricks if they are the disposable type BBQ. (bricks available on site). Fire pits are not permitted.
Do you have a café/restaurant/shop on site?
No, however, there is a good array of shops and eateries in Freshwater Village which is less than 1 mile from the park
What time can we get onto our pitch and what time must we leave?
You are permitted to check in anytime from midday onwards on your day of arrival and we kindly ask that the site is vacated by 11am on your day of departure. Please note we do not allow arrivals/pitching after 6.00pm without prior arrangement
Our return ferry is later in the day, are we able to stay on our pitch for longer?
You are permitted to keep the pitch until 5pm for a half day charge of £10. This is by prior arrangement and is subject to the pitch not being required by a new arrival.
Do you accept single sex parties or parties of young adults under 18?
As Heathfield is a family friendly site we are unable to accept single sex groups. At least one person aged 18 or over must be present for the duration of the stay. (Identification maybe requested by the wardens)

Is Heathfield Camping suitable for guests with Mobility problems?
Yes. We are blessed with being extremely spacious and more importantly very flat. Please check our DDA statement for accessibility. If you require a pitch near to the amenity buildings then please mention this at the time of booking as changing pitches on arrival is not permitted.
Are you able to freeze my ice blocks?
We offer a daily freezer pack service (9.30am-10am) from reception. We ask for a small donation towards our “Heathfield Tree Plantation Fund” for this service.
Is there a time when the site is closed for traffic?
We operate a “No vehicle movement” policy between the hours of 10.30pm - 7am out of respect for guests who maybe sleeping. Access onto the site is also prohibited during these hours.
