Heathfield Farm Camping

Heathfield Camping is set in a rural location on the outskirts of Freshwater village (1 Mile away), we welcome visitors with their own motorhome, touring caravan or tent. The camping park has 75 spacious level grass pitches, 60 of which have electric hook up (16amp blue three pin) Car parking is available on all pitches.

The park has some gravel and tarmac roads and speed restricting humps are installed on the main entrance road. There is a 5 mph speed limit on the whole park area to ensure the safety of all our guests. Road traffic laws apply to the operation of any vehicle on the park.

Disability exemption Parking is available outside of the reception for new arrivals, there are two steps on entry. On arrival each guest will be given a copy of our welcome leaflet and after registration will be directed to their pitch. Welcome leaflets and the Rules and Conditions are available from reception printed in a larger typeface if required.

If you feel that you need help at any time during your stay, please mention it to the site wardens, they will be pleased to assist.

The nearest bus stop is 15 metres from our entrance along a reasonably level pavement, where it is possible to catch a frequent bus service to all parts of the Island.

Nearest railway station is at Lymington Pier where it is possible to catch the ferry to Yarmouth Isle of Wight, and on arrival at Yarmouth it is a 2 mile Taxi / bus ride to our park.

Amenity blocks are well lit at night, however, there is only low level lighting on the park due to our environmental commitments so we highly recommend a torch.

The disabled toilet and shower unit is entered with a key, please ensure that you obtain a key on registration. There is a small threshold to access the Disabled facility and also to access the shower cubicle. Parking for those who need this facility is close by. We will endeavour to allocate persons a pitch close to the disabled facility if requested, please let us know at the time of booking. Please let us know, at the time of booking preferably, if there is any way we can help you to enjoy your stay with us.
